Canada's College Hockey History

ALL STARS AND MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS AT CCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS (MEN'S)

Of the 141 players to be honoured as tournament all stars and/or most valuable players at nationals, only 14 were recognized at two events. Of the 14, eight were selected as a tournament all star at one tournament and the tournament most valuable player at another. Of the eight, Derek Descoteau, Greg Geldart, Rob McKinley, Ron Pierce, Serge Roy and Bill Wilkins were members of two national champions. Chad Ford who played with Cambrian is the only player to be recognized at three national championship tournaments.

(The CCAA Championship Bowl was presented to the winning team at the CCAA National Hockey Championships on 22 occasions. The national goverrning body also sanctioned the CCAA Challenge Cup which was presented to the winning team in 1992.)
